Firestone held its 5th annual Business Appreciation Luncheon at Saddleback Golf Course on September 18, 2009. Firestone's 3rd Annual Honey Festival was held on August 29th. It received a tremendous turnout from residents of Firestone and the greater Carbon Valley region. General attendant throughout the day was estimated to be in the thousands. Read More and View Photos

Town Review
There is a new look for the Firestone Town Review. The most recent issue, that will be mailed soon, has been updated to provide specific focus on current Firestone activities. It also will provide comprehensive overview of how various Town Board policies are implemented and municipal services are provided as efficiently as possible. Upcoming issues will address such matters as Community Development, Regional Cooperation, Public Services, Parks, etc.

4th at Firestone
The seventh annual 4th at Firestone community event enjoyed
a huge turnout. The event continues to grow in popularity with area citizens and local businesses. Highlights were a parade, vendor booths, food, music and entertainment.

Mountain Shadows Park Playground Is Open
The Firestone Public Works Department has installed a new playground in the Mountain Shadows Park. The playground will includes play equipment for both toddlers and older children. The improvements are phase two of the development of the park with additional improvements planned for the future.
