Firestone Launches Citizen and Business Surveys
The Town of Firestone launched its citizen and business surveys today to garner valued feedback and suggestions from residents and businesses.
Firestone Mayor Chad Auer said, “Citizen input is critical to effective government at all levels, particularly at the local level. I consider the data received from this survey vital to my service as mayor.”
The Town of Firestone completed a similar survey in 2009, but updated questions in this survey to reflect the growing changes of the community. By gathering vital information about residents and their needs in Firestone, the town will be able to help make decisions about topics of interest. The survey will also help address whatis working well in the community, as well as what may need changed. It will also provide input on citizen priories and funding, projects that are critical to the community and overall demographics of Firestone residents.
The business survey looks at the specific needs and goals of businesses in Firestone, including growth, development and markets served. Questions also inquiry about how the town can help businesses succeed through outreach efforts.
The survey is available on the Town of Firestone website at www.ci.firestone.co.us under the menu at the left for residents and businesses to complete. Hard copies of the survey are available at Town Hall, 151 Grant Ave., or people can call and request a copy to be sent to them at their residence.
