The Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) governs the permitting and regulation of oil and gas wells throughout the state according to the Oil and Gas Conservation Act. If you have questions, comments or a complaint for the COGCC, please contact the COGCC directly. There are existing oil and gas well sites in and around Firestone. Operator information should be posted at each location. If you have a question about a particular location, please contact the posted operator. If no operator information is posted on location, you are encouraged to contact the COGCC for assistance.
