First Snow of the Season Blankets Firestone

Due to the severity of the wet, heavy snow storm that hit the Firestone area on Oct. 26, many trees were damaged throughout the community. The Firestone Public Works department is allowing residents to drop off tree limbs through Nov. 18 at the Public Works facility, 7500 WCR 20, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tree limbs will be accepted only during business hours, and residents must check in at the Public Works office and provide proof of residency.

For more information, call the Firestone Public Works office at 303-833-3544.

Homeowners are responsible for cleanup/removal of broken limbs from trees located on their property.
