Hegwood Retires from Firestone Clerk Position After 10 Years

Firestone Town Clerk Judy Hegwood was sent off with a warm farewell at a retirement party for her on Feb. 24, 2012, at Firestone Town Hall. Town staff and community members gathered to wish her well.

Hegwood joined the Town in 2002, serving as Town Clerk, which included serving as the custodian of all official records of the Town, including elections and processing of liquor licenses.

Town Manager Wesley LaVanchy said, “We are very appreciative of Judy’s services that she has provided to the Town in the past 10 years. We wish her well in her future endeavors.”
