Mayor, Trustees, Appointed Officials Take Oath of Office

At the April 11, 2012, Firestone Board of Trustees meeting, Interim Town Clerk Rebecca Toberman administered the oath of office to Mayor Chad Auer and Trustees Paul Sorensen, Matt Holcomb and George Heath.

Auer will serve his last two-year term in the mayor position. Sorensen and Holcomb will serve their final four-year term, while Heath is serving his first four-year term.

The meeting also appointed Town Attorney Sam Light with the office of Light, Harrington & Dawes, P.C., Town Treasurer Ron Lay and Firestone Municipal Judge Paul Bassco. Firestone resident Cultural Committee members were recognized: Lora Atkinson, Mellony Femyer, Rosemary Kaufman, Emily Brangoccio-Vallery, David Okada, Betty Heath and Kathleen McCallister. Trustees were also appointed to various commissions and boards. 

In the same meeting, Trustee Kathryn Bieland received a round of applause for her commitment to serving most recently as a Trustee, but also on the Planning Commission.
