Final Movie for the Season Brings Out Many Happy Feet

Firestone ended its 2012 Movie in the Park series on July 27, 2012, at Hart Park, by kicking off the evening with Happy Feet Fitness in the Park sponsored by Anytime Fitness of Firestone. Representatives from Anytime Fitness taught people bootcamp fitness, and also signed people up for the upcoming Full Moon 5K for Colon Cancer on Sept. 8.

Playing it Forward Youth Sports Foundation was the co-sponsor for the evening and provided beverages for movie attendees. They also hosted a used youth sporting goods equipment drive, in which anyone who donated was entered to win a autographed basketball by Denver Nuggets player Arron Afflalo.

About 200 people enjoyed watching Happy Feet 2, while snacking on popcorn provided by the Town of Firestone.
