Planning Commission

 

The Firestone Planning Commission is a seven-member commission that recommends to the Town Board of Trustees a master plan for the development of the Town. They also serve as the Zoning Commission and prepare regulations designed to lessen congestion in the streets; to secure safety from fire, panic, and other dangers; to promote health and general welfare, to provide adequate light and air, to prevent the overcrowding of land; to avoid undue concentration of population; to facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water, sewerage, schools, parks and other public requirements.

The regular meetings of the Planning and Zoning Commission are scheduled for the first and third Wednesdays of each Month at 7:00 P.M. at Firestone Town Hall.
