Board of Adjustment
The Planning and Zoning Commission serves as the Board of Adjustment. When acting as the board of adjustment, the planning and zoning commission has the power to hear and decide appeals where it is alleged that there is an error in any order, requirement, decision or determination made by a town administrative official and based on or made in the enforcement of Title 17.
The Board of Adjustment hears and may decide to grant or deny applications for variances from the provision of Title 17 and applications for variances on individual lots from the provisions of an approved planned unit development plan, except that the board of adjustment shall have no authority to grant use variances;
The Board of Adjustment does not have regular meetings, but meets on an as needed basis.
